Project Update of Patrick Heaghan Wetland Restoration

Project Plan:

This project encompasses a partially completed wetland restoration site conducted by the landowner. The area has been completely fenced and a small open water area has been created. The further works will substantially increase the total size of the wetland and when coupled with riparian plantings will enhance the waterfowl productivity of the site. In total the site will encompass 0.75 hectare of restored wetland habitat.

Project Update:

This project was postponed due to rain hitting earlier in autumn and not relenting enough to get the works done during the 2016 construction season. The works are scheduled to commence in February 2017.
